recently i started working on a boost mobile campaign that has turned out to be super fun. i get the impression they're re-branding their phones from being the hip hop communication of choice to that of the bangs/glasses set. which is why i come in i guess. step one in repositioning involves them sponsoring a series of indie "off center" concerts for the likes of i'm from barcelona, man man, cold war kids, sunset rubdown, and matt costa. i draw each artist and they make silkscreened show posters and t-shirts and then "phone bars" where kids can test out the products. they all take place in san francisco, new york, and la and i can't wait to see them in real life.
